The “mother Europe” in the intoxication of love

  From 1837 to 1901 was Queen Victoria, the ruler of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland – an enormous amount of time if you consider that the multi-faceted and survived by historians mutually looked monarch not only the turbulent 1848 revolution, no, too many others, deeply incised historical events have not been able to throw them out of the throne – such as the democratization of Europe, the colonization of Asia, or the further industrialization of production processes in England and in other parts of the world events that led recently in a technical, anti-feudal era. Thus, the acquaintance is with the attractive German Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg (Rupert Friend), a maternal cousin, just right, Victoria is inspired by his spirit, wit, and his condescension, it grows to the woman and, as the queen of an empire up . Precisely this love story and the influence of the well at the Queen’s interested Tory politician Lord Melbourne (Paul Bettany), which was actually an intimate relationship with Victoria rumored, it’s in the film.

The director Jean- Marc Vallée will capture the Imposanz the feudal world not in stories but in images, thus reflect the view somewhat nostalgic, but not overly nostalgic about the past, such as the stately ambience at Buckingham Palace the 19th Century, which was specially made for Queen Victoria completed the first seat for her and her family.
