Ute Wieland – Biography and filmography

  On 8 April 1957 born in Stuttgart in Großbottwar Ute Wieland studied Germanic and theater studies, before enrolling at the Munich Academy for Television and Film.

In her feature film debut of 1989, the turtle was nominated in the same year for the Federal Film Prize. Then Ute Wieland worked mainly on television productions, including the 110-episode Polizeiruf chase (1998), the comedy How to Marry is his boss? (2000) and Italians and other sweets (2004) and the two-parter Miss Texas (2005).

2006 Ute Wieland returned with the football comedy FC Venus on the big screen. The main roles and Christian Ulmen Nora Tschirner were visible. The end of 2007 it was the Lena Odenthal-scene titled Fettkiller (see 2007).

My next project is a three-part TV film on behalf of the ARD with the working title At the moment, the rebel, the family saga of a family of entrepreneurs in Germany in the 60s and early 50s years, which will be filmed this summer in Bavaria and the Czech Republic. Planned broadcast date is January 2009.
