Nigel Cole – biography and filmography

  Nigel Cole started his career in theater before he moved to television. He staged the first season of the award-winning British comedy series Cold Feet, and documentation of the series In The Wild, where celebrities like Julia Roberts, Meg Ryan and Robin Williams in remote corners of the earth trying to learn new things about human beings and wildlife.

Made his movie debut Saving Grace (Saving Grace) is thrilled to rebound in 2000 and won the Sundance Audience Award at the festival. Actress Brenda Blethyn was nominated for a Golden Globe.

2003 staged Calendar Girls Nigel Cole (Calendar Girls). At this tragicomedy inspired him the true story of a group of middle-aged women who landed in the headlines as her naked in a charity calendar for posing with leukemia. Calendar Girls was honored at the British Comedy Awards. Actress Helen Mirren garnered a Golden Globe nomination, and once the film became one of the most successful British films, which led for four weeks at the box-office charts in England.

2004 followed by the romantic comedy A Lot Like Love (A Lot Like Love) “with Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet in the lead roles.
