  Kabul, Afghanistan, in the early seventies: Before the Russian invasion of the country shows the city in a sophisticated state. On the main streets of the thriving trade. , Too, Baba (Homayoun Ershadi) belongs to that class. Together with his young son, Amir (Zekiria Ebrahimi), his servant Ali (Nabi Tanha) and his son Hassan (Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada), they live in a nice house in the middle of Kabul. The Kabul in the early seventies shows a cosmopolitan, peaceful city. Amir and Hassan are close friends. Together they roam the streets, go to the cinema and take part in the spectacular kite-flying competitions. When the wind can get the Dragons into the sunny sky, the freedom and the carefree joy of the two children is palpable. These competitions are more like sporting events. With great skill, it is the dragon of the players cross the line cut through the sky. Amir and Hassan to prove their talent and win a competition. With a magical sense Hassan predicts land where the cut and he erläuft a dragon kite for Amir. Hassan repeatedly shows his unconditional love for Amir, but is fatal to it. A clique of hostile youths blocked the road and Amir lend him the dragon is a choice or get a spanking too. Out of loyalty to Amir Hassan refuses to give away the dragon and gets beaten up. Amir watched this scene from a hiding place. He did not help his friend, but begins to despise him. The friendship between the two breaks. Amir begins a momentous plot against Hassan which becomes the means of two separated for a long time …

with the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Amir flees with his father in the USA, while Hassan remains in a country in civil wars, occupation and the Taliban’s reign of terror sinking. Twenty years later, Amir gets a phone call, who will again lead back to Afghanistan to atone for his mistake.

The Kite Runner / The Kite Runner is based on the novel by Khaled Hosseini. Director Marc Forster (Monster’s Ball, Stay, Stranger than Fiction, Finding Neverland) has succeeded in beautiful, epic pictures the strength of the successful novel transport into the film. The imagery and the narration of the film is not Hollywood forced upon brace, but the unique, intimate tone of the template will remain. Although the fictional story of Afghanistan and the United States does, but the subjects of history – family ties, friendship, youth, courage, forgiveness and redemption to be universally told so that people everywhere will be affected, regardless of their cultural and social backgrounds. But for the success of the film, it was essential to work intensively with the complex culture and lifestyle of Afghanistan. Khaled Hosseini, whose novel has strong, contains autobiographical elements, was from the outset to advise you. As the older Amir (Khalid Abdalla), Hosseini also returned after more than 20 years back to Kabul. Fiction and reality clashed in him. The Kite Runner has the structure of the classic “Heroes Journey”, in which the hero to go out on a journey in order to redress the balance. Excellent actors crew operates with a mix of well-known actors and amateur actors from Afghanistan and Central Asia. Zekiria Ebrahimi (Young Amir) and Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada (Young Hassan) both give her brilliant acting debut. After a long casting in different countries, the children were selected. Cast and crew are from 28 countries. Sometimes could be maintained only through the use of body language to communicate. The film was shot in western China and in San Francisco.

Anyone who has read the successful novel The Kite Runner , will be thrilled by the film as well, since the film’s emotional core of the novel duly reflects. The epic images of the film reflect the lyrical narrative of the novel. To viewers who do not know the novel, waiting for an exciting, emotional adventure with the immersion in an alien world that looks familiar in their human conflicts. The Kite Runner takes place in a world that threatens to sink into oblivion.

Absolutely worth seeing.
