Fremdschämen is called for. The directors and writers Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson have wrought their Extreme Movie in 2006. In the meantime, a lot has happened since puberty comedies like the secret Drillbit Taylor and Superbad, the successful cheering and reaped good reviews. This course also covered other lousy American Pie movies turned bad and Fime like my wife, the Spartans and the 10 Commandments Movie. And yes, Extreme Movie is again an episodic film that was obviously designed with bad Doge and rotated. The makers must have had great fun – and the viewer must pay for it. Unlike some of the Rohrkrepierergags are not to understand or viewable. Say it but finally someone please tell the Americans: Pretty women, the long and loud fart, are somehow … not funny. And three times is not sexy. As I said, there is no real story in Extreme Movie. Somehow everything with sex, puberty and the first time to do. Be it that Ronny is having sex with Lincoln and missed his girlfriend the first time a cylinder, a wart and a beard. Or the fat Justin, who has a relationship with a rubber vagina, her films provides meals, and jealous, in which he anbändelt with a school beauty. There are guest appearances by celebrities such as Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle), Matthew Lillard (Scream) and Michael Cera (Superbad, Juno). Extreme Movie is unfortunately wasted in almost every respect. The Jacobson and Epstein the screenplay for the successful Not Another Teen Movie, wrote notes not in the least. Even more, that for the completely listless American Pie direct-to-video releases were responsible. Matthew Lillard just knows how to take care with his ironic and sexist slogans for laughs. Had the makers to better and, above all, not so old, hackneyed gags ready to Extreme Movie could have been good. Stay lone highlights just how Matthew Lillard, the PSS (Sudden stand-syndrome) and a nice musical contribution. (Renatus Töpke)
