The strengths of Florin Serban debut feature film are clearly in the optical and the camera, which often follows the protagonist directly, so that we as spectators in the oppressive atmosphere of the Youth prison is directly involved. This and the successful play of amateur actors makes the hierarchies and power structures of the Knaster clearly, consistently, the film stays close to Silviu and then turn creates its own world in which the outside are there for the juvenile inmates outside the prison walls, no room. At the end of the prison, despite all the hardness and harshness almost become something of a retreat from the world.

This authentic and close to the action but may be filmed – it’s hard to get involved in this film emotionally completely . What may lie mainly because we know so little about Silviu and his family, so it is difficult to understand his actions and trace the motives. We learn nothing about the deed that earned him his punishment, nothing about the father that is in the hospital and very little about the mother who is accused by Silviu neglect. However, because this mother is contoured as a character too weak to affect the accusations Silvius constructed a little and take the film certainly exists, some of its potential. In spite of some, especially formal strengths is Eu cand vreau sa fluier, fluier probably none of the competition entries, which belong to the group of favorites for the Golden Bear has. In the young Romanian film scene, but it fits with his realistic claim and his desire for formal experimentation very short) into it.
