Open Graves

               Genre: Horror
               Death, witch, surfers, board game
A pretty nasty-teens stool gets the fan with Open Graves donated. Not only became apparent once again at last put good money into a genre film, even the script is surprisingly well built and lovingly. Genre fans will indeed find the Open Graves (for added good) mix of Wishmaster, Drag Me to Hell and the Final Destination films is, but the movie has enough charm and sympathy points that make it worth seeing.

The smart Surferboy Jason (Mike Vogel Cloverfield) wins at a shopping tour in Spain, a gift from a tramp an ancient board game. As Jason, one evening with his friends, including his girlfriend, Erika (Eliza Dushku, Bring It), tried the game, set in motion a dangerous chain reaction. For each of the friends is henceforth condemned to death. And death will happen so, as it predicted the cards. But there is a chance Jason and Erika have the game not ended. And so they have the opportunity to win and save her life.

Just Eye Candy Eliza Dushku, which has gained with such films as Bring It On and Wrong Turn series and starred in Buffy and Dollhouse great reputation, gets enough in Open Graves opportunities to prove himself a Scream Queen, and to draw the focus to himself. She is also the only actor Mike Vogel carries the film. Incomprehensible is the misleading title and much too dark image of the DVD cover. Also, there are two, three visual effects that look unnecessarily cheap. On the whole, Open Graves is an entertaining genre film that runs through the hard and be consistent and just because a thing has the makings of a cult film.
