Behind the popularly called “Before the Fall” household name hides the “national-education institution” (NPEA), an elite school of the National Socialists, whose graduates often career in 1945 in Germany and Austria made. The focus of the story is the 17-year-old Anton (Ludwig Trepte), which – probably not entirely voluntarily – with his mother, Lucia (Bibiana Beglau) and their new friend Paul (Andreas Patton) on vacation in the Brittany goes.
