Buket Alakus – biography and filmography

  Buket Alakus on 1 Born July 1971 in Istanbul and grew up in Hamburg. After her training as a communication specialist at the College of Fine Arts in Berlin, she began in 1996, the graduate film directing at the University of Hamburg. At this time, with key, tango and Kismet short films that aroused the attention of the Desert film production.

Alakus first full-length feature film, the drama Anam, it was also produced by fescue and Stefan Schubert and Ralph came in early 2002 in the German cinemas. The film was screened at various national and international festivals and has received numerous awards including the Audience Award at the Hamburg Film Festival, the Prix Europe, and the price of petrol sprinklers CIVIS-ARD Television / Entertainment.
