Buddy

Kristoffer (Nicolai Cleve Broch), working with his buddy Geir (Aksel Hennie) as a bill-poster and lives with him and Stig Inge (Anders Baasmo Christiansen), a quiet and somewhat pedantic web designer, a flat in Oslo. Kristoffer has an unusual hobby: he leads a video diary in which he holds his life and that of his buddies. Especially Geir is something like the secret star of this film, because he likes something and risking making a stunt. In one of these stunts, and the subsequent escape Kristoffer loses some of his videotapes, which fall into the hands of a TV station that broadcasts the material promptly. At a stroke, the three guys real celebrities, but the sudden fame has its downsides.

Because they suddenly find themselves with their own reality, and thus confronted with repressed issues. Sun suffers at first glance merely cranky pedant Stig Inge from serious mental disorders that make sure that he can not leave the house. Geir is the father of a young son, of whom almost no one knows anything. Kristoffer has to be irresponsible and get life and his relationships in the handle, because so far he can just drive and shrinks from any debonding bond. For his relationship with the career-Elizabeth (Janne Formo) failed among other things, that he could not consent to it, so they fled into the arms of her boss. When, however, temporarily moves in the beautiful and tough Henriette (Pia Tjelta) in the WG, seems to be between her and initiate Kristoffer something. But before anyone can achieve the three his small fortune to be at only decisions that will change her life.

Morten Tyldum buddy film was well received at many film festivals, he won, among other things, the Audience Award in Karlovy Vary and Warsaw, and won the prize in Haugesund, both the lender and the audience award. Apparently, the mix of light comedy, and the typical problems of young people that hide behind the facade of the young and carefree life came to the street and hit a nerve with the audience.
