Blackout Journey

Million (Marek Harloff) is a musician in Berlin and wants to finally swim free of the annoying advances of various talent scouts who want to persuade him to do, but finally covers songs by others. Preferably it would be him produce his own music in a private studio, but the path to it seems much and costs a lot of money – Charcoal million did not, of course. As it turns out to be a stroke of luck that one day he receives the letter of a Viennese notary public by making informed him that he should now be compensated for but the death of his parents. The Schwechat 18 years ago had become the victim of a terrorist attack at the Vienna airport. But the journey to happiness is quite something. Million, Antonio Saura a seriously traumatized brother, Valentin, who has grown up in a remote mountain village, and without his signature, nothing is out of the deal with the studio, especially since the purchase price of 80,000 euros to be raised within four days notice. Gritting their teeth makes the million Finally with his unsuspecting girlfriend Stella (Cote de Pablo), on the way to Austria after being rebuffed by his foster parents and his request for a small personal loan. It does not help, Mio must deal with his past and deal with it with his brother. Repressed

As Mios brother Valentin, the existence of his brother, he finds that the two tourists wandered and explains even willing to accompany the couple to Vienna. During the trip, however, there are million recognized his brother and there is an altercation. The pleasant ride through the picturesque landscape is becoming more and more into a horror trip into his past. A journey that will drastically alter the lives of million, Stella and Valentin.

There are a number of inconsistencies in the story of two very different brothers who are forced, after almost 20 years to deal with their own past, such as the question of why the two were separated and all why after all this time just at the moment is due to compensation, as one of the two suddenly desperately needs money. It is constructed very diverse, making the inner conflicts and the implied guilt of the two little understood, especially since the script writers obviously had a rather brisk action Pops as a psychological depth road movie in mind. Blackout Journey that is not yet totally failed, but is passable at three main characters, cool music and the secret star of the film, a gold Citroen DS 21 Convertible. Who can see this vehicle driving like Full Frame on beautiful alpine roads, which this film is strongly placed to his heart, but who are interested in the question of how people cope with trauma from their past, will undoubtedly be disappointed.
